Mashed cauliflower
We’re mostly familiar with mashed potato which creamy and fluffy texture could ease your tongue. The mashed cauliflower could do the same. Let try the mashed cauliflower recipe with adding some cheese and mayonnaise as a good alternative to the traditional mashed potato.

medium head cauliflower (cut into florets)
2 tablespoons
unsalted butter

garlic cloves (minced)
3 tablespoons
mayonnaise (or sour cream/ heavy cream)
1/4 cup
parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon
ground pepper

Steam the cauliflower for 6 – 8 minutes, until fork-tender. Don’t overcook them, cause they’ll become soggy. Remove the cauliflower from heat and drain well.

Melt the butter over medium-high heat to saute the garlic until fragrant, remove from heat.

Add steamed cauliflower, sauteed garlic and all the remaining ingredients into a large food processor. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth like mashed potato. You could use a masher or an immersion blender to mash the mixture alternatively.

Serve with pats of butter and favorite herbs if desired.
