salted popped popcorn (place in a large bowl)

butter
1 cup
brown sugar
1/4 cup
light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon
baking soda
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 120oC/ 250oF. Prepare a large cooking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.

Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat until melted. Add sugar, corn syrup and salt into the pan and stir well. Increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring often.

Once the mixture reaches a boil, stop stirring and continue to cook without touching for 4 minutes. Then remove the pan from heat and stir the baking soda and vanilla into the mixture.

Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn in the bowl and toss quickly to coat well.

Transfer the coated popcorn to the prepared pan and spread into an even layer. Bake the popcorn in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Once done, remove the pan from the oven. Let the caramel popcorn cool down then break into pieces and serve.
