Turkey burger
Turkey burger is a kind of fast meal that just cost you about 20 minutes to prepare. You could shorten up the cooking time by preparing the meat the night before and keep it in the fridge. It’s very suitable for the breakfast when you have to do everything so quickly.

For the burger
450 g
ground turkey thigh

egg
1 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon
pepper
1 teaspoon
dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon
poultry seasoning

thin slices of cold butter
4 slices
of cheese
4
soft sesame burger buns
For the topping
1
large tomato (sliced)

lettuce leaves
1
red onion (sliced)
8 slices
of pickles

In a large bowl, combine well turkey, egg, pepper, parsley, seasoning and milk. Divide the mixture into 4 even patties. Place a butter slice at the center of the patty, press it into the patty and form the meat around it.

Heat a large cast iron frying pan or a griddle pan over medium heat, spray the pan with nonstick cooking spray then place the burgers onto the pan. Cook the burgers for 4 – 5 minutes until browned then flip them over. Cooked the burger for 3 – 4 minutes more then place the cheese slices onto them. Use a lid or a foil to cover the pan for 1 minute until the cheese’s melted.

Halve the buns and place the lettuce onto them. Remove the burgers and place onto the buns. Top them with onion, tomato, pickles and another half of buns. Serve immediately.
