Preheat the oven to 190oC. Cut off the stalks and halve the broccoli florets. Place the florets in a bowl. Add olive oil, salt, and pepper, and mix with the florets. Arrange them on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and lightly browned. Serve hot.
