Honey lemons
Honey lemons are commonly lemon slices submerged in honey to increase the flavor of both honey and lemon. This way of preserve also helps the lemon to last for longer. You can use honey lemons to make tea, drinks or consume with cereal, salad as desired.

honey

Prepare a 360 ml (12 oz) jar. Boil the jar and lid for 10 – 15 minutes to sterilize, let cool completely.

Scrub the lemons with sea salt of kosher salt then rinse them. Slice the lemons and remove the seeds.

Place some slices of lemon into the jar then drizzle over with about one full tablespoon of honey. Repeat with the remaining lemon slices and honey.

Use a spoon to press the lemon slices so that they are fully submerged into honey.

Close the lid of the jar, shake it and place in the fridge at least two days before serving.

Serve the honey lemons as a tea, in drinks or with cereal, salad, yogurt as desired.
