Halloween finger sandwich
For Halloween, with little wizards, we devour this horrifying recipe every year: witch fingers! But it's absolutely not disgusting and children love it! It's super quick to make, inexpensive, and super tasty. This Halloween finger sandwich recipe will tell you the secret.
Ration
6 people
Cooking time
40 minute
1
puff pastry
6
Strasbourg sausages
12
slivered almonds
1
egg yolk
Ketchup (for the blood…!)
1
Preheat the oven to 200oC. Meanwhile, cut the sausages in half. Unroll the puff pastry. Cut it into 4 strips that are 1/2 the length of the sausages and as wide as their diameter. Wrap each piece of sausage in the puff pastry and close both sides tightly.
2
On the end of the sausage, place a slivered almond which will make the nail of your finger. Brush them with a little beaten egg yolk. With a knife, make small streaks on each finger that will represent the folds of the phalanges (to make this even more true!).
3
Bake for 20 minutes in the oven (the dough should be golden). Let cool for 10 minutes and transfer it to the plate. Decorate the fingers with ketchup stains, emphasizing the cut end of the finger! Enjoy!
