Giniling
This pork giniling recipe is so classy yet affordable as most of the ingredients are available in our kitchen. It is a popular Filipino dish but you can turn it into something special and delicious. Follow along with the recipes and kitchen tips below!

Add oil to a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Sauté in garlic and onion until soft and aromatic. Stir in the tomato sauce and tomato paste until the oil separates from the sauce. Stir in the ground pork until slightly brown. Pour in water and reduce the heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in soy sauce, calamansi juice, salt, and pepper for another 10 minutes.

Place the butter in the saucepan and cover. Simmer the pork mixture for 5 minutes. Sauté in carrots, potatoes, and bell pepper over low heat for 5 more minutes. Once the veggies are cooked, stir in grated cheese until melted. Stir in green peas for 2 - 3 minutes. Gently mix in hard-boiled eggs and turn off the heat. Transfer the pork giniling with eggs to a dish and serve over rice.
