Creamed corn
Creamed corn is a popular side dish served with pork, chicken or ham. This dish is so quick and easy to make with just a few ingredients as canned corn, milk, cream cheese, garlic. You can add spices as desired to make the dish to become more flavorful.

corn (840 g/ 29 oz)
3/4 cup
whole milk
1/3 cup
cream cheese
1 tablespoon
flour
1 clove
of garlic (grated)
1 teaspoon
sugar
1/2 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon
black pepper

Add corn and milk into a medium saucepan and heat over medium-low heat until warm.

Add the remaining ingredients into the pan and stir well. Cook with stirring frequently until the cheese and butter melted, and the mixture thickened, about 5 minutes.

Lower the heat to low then ladle out about ¾ cup of the cooked creamed corn (while still leave the pan on the heat) and add into a food processor or blender to puree.

Add the puree creamed corn back into the pan and stir well to combine. Remove the pan from heat and serve warm.
