Chocolate chip banana bread
Chocolate chip banana bread is an easy bread to make. You could combine some overripe bananas left in your kitchen, the chocolate chip and other basic ingredients to create a real treat. It’ll possibly please either adults or kids from your family.

For the dry mixture
1 + 1/2 cups
flour
1 teaspoon
baking soda
1/2 teaspoon
salt
1 teaspoon
ground cinnamon
For the wet mixture
1 cup
overripe mashed banana (about 3 bananas)
1 cup
unsalted butter (soften)
1/2 cup
granulated sugar
1/4 cup
brown sugar

eggs (lightly beaten)
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
1 cup
dark chocolate chip

Preheat the oven to 180oC (350oF). Prepare a greased 23 x 13 cm (9 x 5 inch) loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, mix well the dry mixture ingredients.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar, then add beaten eggs, mashed banana and vanilla extract. Mix them well until blended.

Fold the dry mixture into the wet one until incorporated. Fold the chocolate chip into the mixture.

Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, bake for 55 – 65 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the bread and it comes out clean.

Remove the bread from the oven. Let the bread cool down for at least 10 – 15 minutes before removing it from the pan.

Let the bread cool down completely then slice and enjoy.
