Baked chicken drumstick

chicken drumsticks (skin-on)

1/2 teaspoon
black pepper

garlic powder

onion powder

smoked paprika

Preheat the oven to 205oC/ 400oF. Prepared a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Layer the chicken drumsticks onto the parchment paper in the pan.

Add oil with the remaining ingredients into a small bowl and mix until combined.

Brush the seasoning paste over the drumsticks on all sides and bake, uncovered for 40 minutes, or until their internal temperature reaches 74oC/ 165oF. If after 30 minutes, the tops of the drumsticks turn browned too fast, covering them loosely with foil and continue to bake until they are cooked through.

Once done, remove the pan from the oven, brush the drumsticks with the juices from the pan and serve immediately.
